Nunchuk...

Ca y est, la voiture avance, recule et tourne, le tout grâce à un nunchuk! I2C résoud pas mal de problèmes d'ailleurs, ça simplifie pas mal les choses!

En attendant de résoudre le problème des piles (poids/puissance/tension) je vais commencer à coder sérieusement la partie logicielle!

Here it is, the car moves forward, backward and turns, controlled by a nunchuk! I2C solves a lot of problems by the way, it simplifies things a bit!

While trying to solve the battery problem (weight/power/voltage) I'm going to code the software part!

Clavier/Keyboard

Maintenant que le clavier est branché à la voiture, je vais pouvoir lui donner des instructions directement! Suffit de programmer tout ca ;)

Now that a keyboard is plugged to the car, I'll be able to send it commands directly. Just need to program it ;)

Ecran LCD/LCD Screen

L'écran LCD fait maintenant partie de la voiture! Là aussi, quelle galère pour tout connecter! Mais ca fonctionne!

The LCD screen's now a part of the car! There too, what a mess to get everything connected properly! But it works!

Oui, c'est la merde!

Direction assistée/power Steering

La direction est terminée. Moyennant un petit hack des deux servos Futaba que j'ai acheté, ca marche pas trop mal. Même plutôt bien. Par chance, l'entraxe vertical et horizontal des fixations des servos correspond pile poil à celui des legos!

Steering's now finished. Using a little hack  of the two futaba servo I bought, it works not so bad. Pretty weel in fact.By chance, vertical & horizontal distance between the holes of the servo's fastening system fits lego bricks!

Moteurs, premier essai.

Premier essai du SN754410, alias Quadruple pont en H, pour contrôler un moteur. Pas facile facile, surtout quand on perd 45mn à chercher ce qui ne va pas alors que la puce n'est pas alimentée -_-''
En tout cas maintenant ca marche.
Autre chose: un nouvel arduino plus balèze ne va pas tarder à arriver, le Duemilanove aura du mal à tenir la route avec tout ce que je compte lui faire subir...plus à venir.

First test of the SN754410, aka Quad H Bridge, in order to drive a motor. Not so easy, especially when you spend 45mn searching what's wrong while the chip's not powered -_-''
Anyway it's working now.
BTW: another more powerful arduino will soon arrive, the Duemilanove will have trouble coping with what I plan for it...more to come.
